The evidence of spring is all around us and everyone is ready to start home improvements, gardening and landscaping projects. The Greater Limestone County Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Home and Garden Show March 13-14, 2010 at the Athens National Guard Armory. Attendees will find products, services and guidance on a large variety of home and gardening projects and may participate in free demonstrations on home and gardening tips and techniques.

This will be the third year for car enthusiasts to enjoy the informal Cruise In downtown Athens the 1st Saturday night of each month, March–October. There are normally 150 – 250 vintage vehicles parked around the square. Registration is not required. Antique vehicle owners should bring their vehicle to the square to be exhibited between 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

Everyone is encouraged to attend the Cruise In, walk around and look the cars, trucks and motorcycles as you enjoy 60’s, 70’s and 80’s music. While in Athens, enjoy the delicious food at some of our local restaurants and do a little shopping at local shops.
